TASANOC Mission Statement

The mission of TASANOC is to develop and protect the Olympic Movement in accordance with the Olympic Charter.

TASANOC Vision Statement

Tasanoc endeavors to promote the fundamental principles of Olympism, ensurance of a proactive, viable and professional organization, which effectively represents the interest of the Olympic Movement and all sports in The Kingdom of Tonga.

Special Programmes

The NOC organizes sports promotional events, such as the Olympic Day Run during the annual festival week celebrating King Taufa'ahau Tupou IV's birthday. (4th July);

Other major events, such as the Secondary School InterCollegiate Sports for Athletics and the usual club competition in rugby, netball, boxing, tennis, etc, allow opportunities for promotion of the Olympic programme and the assistance Tonga benefits from being a member of the IOC.
